Sue Mue’s bridal and couture collection for the festive season of 2016 has been inspired by the royal regalia and cultural heritage of the state of Rajasthan. Anyone who has visited this land of beauteous stereotypes has always taken a piece of it with them.
The collection is a celebration of timeless art brought to form using highly skilled traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship. The designs and motifs on the clothes stem from the techniques that have been dear to the heritage of the state. Beautiful ensembles bring together interesting patterns, embroidery and mirror work that is reflective of a pulsating mood. The supreme craftsmenship amalgamates Indian aesthetics in a modern language.
Taking centrestage, gotapatti embroidery has been delicately sewn with zari, resham French knots and mirror work to create dazzling motifs and patterns.
Over a 100 artisans and embroiders have put in more than 150 days of love and labor in crafting these exquisite ensembles. Regional silhouettes in luxe silks are available in rainbow tones ranging from Lava Red to Rani Pink and from Emerald Green to Imperial Purple. Classic Ivories and Ebony Blacks gloriously make their way into colour palette. It’s a perfect fusion of rituals and vogue.
Sue Mue is committed to revive and empower crafts, designs and textiles through heritage-inspired high fashion clothing, jewellery and accessories.
Whatever we make is deeply inspired by royal stories as we demystify regal designs and recreate things from the past into things very modern for the connoisseurs of today.
